In major Lithuanian cities rent rates fell by 10%

Recently prices for apartments for rent in Lithuania fell by 10%. However, this affected only the largest cities – Vilnius, Klaipeda and Kaunas. This situation in the rental market was caused due to the excess supply, according to the portal LRT.

An employee of one of the Lithuanian Agencies notes that many local investors invest in properties - buy flats and lease them to visitors. The time has come when the market is "fed up" - the supply exceeded the real demand. Therefore, rents have fallen.
