ium1401 Villa Todi, Perugia, Umbria ium1401 Short description
Medieval castle in a picturesque location with views of Todi. Completely renovated, has a large lounge, 5 bedrooms, 3 of which are located in an ancient watchtower, and 5 bathrooms. Own land of 17 hectares and 4 outbuildings.
The medieval castle was built around the year 1000 in a picturesque location with great views of the city of Todi. This was a strategic choice: the tower of the castle was part of a system of towers built to perform the function of warning in case of danger for the city.
Over the centuries the building lost its function and was purchased in the late 90's, fully renovated, restored with great attention and transformed into a prestigious and comfortable place to stay.
Todi is just 8 km away and other important cities of Umbria, such as Orvieto (32 km), Perugia (50 km) and Spoleto (55 km) can be reached in less than an hour by car, while Citta della Pieve is located just a few minutes.
The nearest airport is in Perugia, 52 km away and the international airports of Rome Ciampino (155 km) and Rome Fiumicino (173 km) to travel approximately 2 hours by car.
