Villa dated back to 1800, in the centre of Buti, nice small village, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. The property includes a villa free on three sides with an exclusive garden all round two sides of the house. The garden is really cute as it is very Italian style with small paths and small original stone walls, there’s also a big terrace and a river which delimits the property.
The house has basically a square shape plan and it is on 4 levels: Basement: there are cellars and the access by car through a gate. Ground floor: this is the level where’s the main entrance from the street. It welcomes you in a stylish doorway with a liberty style floor. This room is in the centre of the house, you can go right in a studio which has a small door to go to the dining room, or you can go left in another living room with fireplace, from where you can access the main huge living room with restored frescoed, another small room which has been used as bedroom, and then a kitchen. From the kitchen and from the dining room you can exit to the garden and enjoy your meals in fresh air with the relaxing sound of the river flow. Also there’s a little bathroom with shower. First floor: through an internal staircase you access to the first floor, which has 5 huge bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a balcony which faces on the garden. Attic: this is absolutely the most charming part of the house thanks to the very high ceilings with carefully restored beams and the original cotto tile floor. As the other floors it has 5 big rooms. The whole house has heating system. It has partly renovated. The facades have been entirely renovated according to the original style, and the roof has been restored too. Most of the rooms have frescoed ceilings which give high value to the whole property. From the ceilings to the cellars, everything has a particular value.
The location is really fine as you can reach the main square of the village in 1 minute by foot, as well as shops and cafes. Buti is a small village surrounded by Pisan mountains Monte Serra, where there are several farmhouses producing olive oil and red wine. The people love their village in fact it is a very active town with many parties all over the year where everyone takes part. Also there’s a local Palio with horses.
