Description
The villa is situated in the region of Reggello and takes its name from an old industrial family called “Tani“ who manufactured silk.
The original plans were dated 1500 but underwent a major restoration in 1743 - it is written in Latin on the door of the cellar.
The ground floor consists of frescoed halls including a large fireplace supported by two original stone columns. On the first floor, which is reached by a beautiful stone staircase, there are rooms that once were used as living rooms and bedrooms. On one of the fireplaces one can see the Tani family coat of arms.
The property is spread over three floors, each one being about 400 square metres. There is a cellar of 100 square meters, a chapel, and an aviary all set in about 1000 square metres of land.
