http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKysEIVJfBs The Gaeta villa was built in 1920 in the imperial style, which was popular at that time, on a promontory on Lake Como near the town of Menaggio. The position is absolutely unique: it is surrounded on 3 sides by Lake Como with unspoilt views to Bellagio on the opposite side. The villa was restored in the 1980s and divided in 22 luxury apartments. The GAETA Villa set in 5000 m² of wonderful parkland was used as a backdrop for filming in spring 2007 when the concluding scene of the James bond film "Casino Royal" was shot here. The park is very extensive and was laid out by an important landscape gardener, it offers many inviting seating areas with breath‐taking views at some of them. The villa also has its own mooring for boats. In addition there is a bathing area in the villa’s park, which is reserved exclusively for the residents of the villa.
