The building was built in 1467. The hotel has in the past been visited by Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir. The hotel has been carefully restored. the 32 rooms of the hotel have their own unique style, fine fabrics and traditional furnishings. Each room has air conditioning and a TV with satellite channels, mini-bar, safe, Hairdryer and telephone with direct line, and some rooms offer views of the Pantheon. 6 family suites, located in the adjoining building is incredibly spacious hosting 3 or 4 people, and is therefore the best choice for travelers to Rome families. A long narrow hall with a vaulted ceiling, a floor, covered with red tiles, whitewashed walls, richly framed antique painting, create a unique atmosphere. From the lobby, the doors leading to different rooms which are finished in an elegant, simple, concise manner, with white walls, white upholstered chairs and sofas, with emphasis on antiquity. One floor is at the level of a beautiful interior garden, with an elegant covered patio, where Breakfast is served. The Piazza and surrounding streets are full of cafes and restaurants where you can have lunch and dinner.
The hotel is located in Rome's Piazza della Rotonda in front of the Pantheon and 5 minutes walk from Piazza Navona. The Trevi fountain is located 500 metres away, and Largo Argentina is a 5 - minute walk from the hotel. Buses run to the Vatican city and Termini train station.
