The nearby nature reserve of the "Gorge of Sagittarius" is rich in flora and fauna with a well-kept botanical garden. Especially in spring and summer are organized at Bugnara various fairs & festivals while dynamic is always the activity of the Congress Centre. Bugnara is a good place to live (peaceful, well-connected and very close to Sulmona) or even just to spend the holidays. Bus services are plentiful, the highway A25 is a 15 ', the airport of Pescara to 1 hour as well as the beaches of the Adriatic; Rome is 75 ' (2-3 hours with buses or trains that depart from Sulmona).
