Apartments in Ireland rose in price by 7.4% for the year

Over the past year, apartments in Ireland has risen in price by 7.4%. House prices rose by 6.8%. The average growth rate of cost per square meter for all types of real estate in the country was 6.7%.

Changes in the real estate market have the fastest impact on the apartment. Since 2009 the cost of Irish apartments decreased more intense than prices for detached houses. But now, in the recovery phase, on the apartments market appear the positive trends increasingly.


In the capital of Ireland, housing is now more expensive than before the crisis of 2008-2009. However, in the western part of the country the cost per square meter has not yet reached pre-crisis level. County Cork along with Dublin demonstrates high level of market activity.


The most expensive property is in the administrative County of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, in Dublin city and in County Fingal (in descending order). The cheapest objects were sold in the Longford, Roscommon and Litime.
