There are 98 flights per week directly into the island during summer from North West Europe, as well as 8 ferries per day to the mainland at Killini, These ferries take the bus services to Patras, Athens and Thessalonika. During the winter there is a daily flight to Athens and 4 ferries per day. From Patras there are ferry connections to 4 Italian ports, with further connections to Croatia.
The open-plan main living area is subtly split into lounge, dining and office area by a bookcase/room divider and a breakfast bar. The lounge has a large open fireplace and double patio doors leading directly on to the verandah. The master bedroom, with its en suite bathroom, and the second bedroom have a split-system air conditioning. Fitted wardrobes are fitted to the two main bedrooms. The en suite bathroom has a large corner bath, shower cubicle, hand basin, toilet and bidet. The guests bathroom has a shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin. Floors are tiled throughout except in the basement, which is concreted.
The basement is fully shelved for storage and also contains the central heating boiler and the fuel storage tank (1100 litres). In the basement, and throughout the house there is a mixture of English 3-pin and continental power plugs. External gas bottles feed the combi-cooker, which has gas and electric hobs.
