A new residential project consisting of 11 houses "BLUE MARINE" will be built between the two most popular tourist areas of Gerani and Platanias. Gerani is a small coastal village located 13 km west of Chania, between Maleme and Platanias, in a green valley with olive groves and citrus trees. The long and clean beach of Gerani is 2,5 km long and has been awarded with the Blue Flag by the European Union. The beach is equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers, changing cabins and showers. Be careful when you are on the beach, because this sandy beach attracts turtles Caretta caretta, which lay their eggs in the sand during the whole summer season from May to September. Gerani is located next to the junction of the new National Road, making it easy to travel around Crete. There is also a frequent bus transportation from the center of Chania to the village.
