In Nice has begun the construction of second tram line, which will connect the airport with the port and will be built behind the Promenade des Anglais along the avenue of California and Boulevard Victor Hugo. 20 stops are planned, the length of the line will be 11.3 km.
By the end of the work, in 2018, it will significantly increase the cost of apartments within walking distance of the new stations, as well as improve the status of the city in terms of infrastructure and the environment. From the center of Nice it will be possibleу to reach the airport in 20 minutes.
Recall that the tram in Nice was resumed in 2007 - when opened the first line through the city center was opened (22 stops, the line length of 9.1 km). In plans there is a construction of the third and fourth lines.
