Paris is getting cheaper, but “square” is still exceeding €7,800

Property prices in Paris fell by 3.5%, in the summer of 2014 and by 9.1% in March of 2011. The average "square" cost in the French capital now stands at €7,850. Such data is given by the MeilleursAgents company.

Realtors say that most of all, by 10-25% have fallen in price flats with some defects (first or ground floor, poor condition), while the cost of luxury apartments in Paris fell only by 3%. It is forecasted that the average housing prices in Paris will be reduced by 5% at the end of 2014, if compared with the beginning of the year.

Let’s recall that every tenth buyer of real estate in Paris and its surroundings is a foreigner. According to the real estate agency BIEN, such an influx has not been observed over the last 15 years!
