Paris region in 2015 became a leader for the speed and scale of construction in the entire country.
Previously, the best in the last 15 years were considered 2012 and 2013 - when the was started the construction an average of 62,000 housing units. The figure in 2015 exceeded figures of 2014 by 15.1%.
If we talk about the country, in 2015 the number of started construction in the whole country has not changed compared to the 2014 year: 0.3%, or 351,800 units.
The situation in the region Ile-de-France is also heterogeneous in terms of territorial dynamics: housing starts increased significantly in the Val-de-Marne (+ 94.8%), in Paris (44 3%) and in the Yvelines (33 + , 3%), but for example in the Val d'Oise, it fell (-11.6%). Nevertheless, the general trend in the region shows a more than positive trend.
