This fall the situation in the capital of Finland is particularly critical: in the queue for housing from the Foundation of student housing in Helsinki HOAS are now 5,000 students. While by the beginning of September the Fund will be able to provide flats or rooms only 1500 students.
As a temporary measure designed to facilitate the housing situation, the Fund changed the timing of the notification about the forthcoming move from student apartments. If a student wants to move out at the end of August, he is obliged to notify the lessor until the middle of the month, not in a month, like it was before.
