Finnish real estate is getting cheaper across the country

Property in Finland slightly loses in value across the country. According to the latest data published by Statistics of Finland, in November 2014 the prices for apartments in old apartment buildings and townhouses declined by 2.6% in annual terms. In the suburbs of Helsinki, this figure reached 2%.

Throughout Finland, apartment prices fell by about 3.1% in annual terms. And when compared with October 2014, November decline was -1.7%, Property Selection reports.

In November 2014, the average cost per square meter in apartment in capital’s suburb was €3,474, and in other parts of Finland – €1,626.
