Estonia in 2015: the market situation promises to be positively boring

"Estonian real estate market is mostly depending on the Swedish economy and its banking system. This year is not expected to bring any significant changes. 2015 will be positively boring for the industry," said Martin Vahter, Executive Director at 1Partner Real Estate.

According to The Baltic Course, the end of 2014 did not bring any negative trends. The most expensive apartments in Tallinn were sold for €760,000 and the cheapest – for €3,600. The most expensive house worth €1.1 million, and the cheapest – €100. The most expensive deal with the land was made for €1.29 million and the cheapest for €10,600.

According to the Land Board, in December 2014 the number of transactions on real estate market of Tallinn increased by 12.8% on a monthly basis and by 18.4% on the annual. In total there were 1,081 transaction made. The total sum of all transactions increased by one third in a year.

In December 2014 a "square" in the Estonian capital cost about €1,500.
