The cost per square meter in Tallinn increased by 7.6%

In September 2016 the average cost of housing in the Estonian capital was €1682€. This is 2.6% more than in August and is 7.6% higher than September of last year. Such statistics leads the local land Department. Information about how many transactions were concluded in the country, Land Department receives from the notary – they are obliged to report about the transaction within 10 days.


The number of registered sales in September also increased by 8.5% mom and 9.7% yoy.


In the regions, the cost of housing has risen to €639 per sqm (+2.3% yoy and -10,4% compared to August). The number of sales increased in comparison with August 2015 (+5.3%) and decreased in relation to August 2016 (-8,6%).
