The number of British property millionaires has increased to half a million

Amid a sharp rise of  house prices in the UK a large number of house owners became property millionaires, many of them - for the first time.

The number of property owners whose home pricing at least £1 mln. increased by 8.3% ( 524 306 people) compared with the previous year, with the highest concentration in London and the South-East of the country.

Currently in the UK there are more than 10,000 streets, where the average property price is more than £1 mln., with nearly half of them located in the capital, and most of the outside - in Surrey and Buckinghamshire. 13 the streets of London the average price of housing is more than 10 million pounds.

Three of the most expensive streets are in the London borough of Kensington/Chelsea. The first place certainly obtain  Kensington Royal gardens, called " millionaire row" - the average cost of homes here is £42 mln., which is 150 times more than the national average. The second is Boltons in West Brompton, where the average is £30 mln., and the third - Grosvenor Crescent (£22 mln.)

Average housing prices in the UK in June exceeded the £200,000, which is 1.7% higher than in May and 9.6% higher than June of 2014.
