£ 649 000 - and you live in Hogwarts!

“Pottermania” knows no boundaries and limits. Now it applies to the real estate market: if you are a fan of saga about the wizard boy and school of magicians - this proposal does not leave you indifferent.

Hogwarts exists! The Royal Connaught Park in the city oа Bushey (Hertfordshire) is an old Gothic mansion that was used as a filming location of a large number of scenes (in particular dining room was used for filming scenes in the "Big Hall" of the first three Harry Potter films), and in the tower of the mansion was situated Dumbledore's office in "Order of the Phoenix".

Victorian Gothic mansion was built in 1903, and until 1977 here was the Royal Masonic School for Boys. Later, the complex was used by the International University of the United States in Europe, as well as the site of numerous filmings of Hollywood and British filmmakers. In total, since the 20s of the 20th century, the mansion became the place for the filming of 397 movies, TV series and TV shows, including the films Monty Python's Life of Brian, St Trinian's, Starter for Ten, Hot Fuzz and Children of Men, the TV series  EastEnders , Ghosts , Midsomer Murders, Judge John Deed and  Silent Witness , TV-show  Little Britain.

In 2009 was started the development of the transformation of university buildings in the residential complex and currently the project is in the final phase. The complex will consist of 380 apartments and private houses situated on 100 acres of the park. "Dumbledore's office" is included in one of the townhouses.


The first 28 apartments, townhouses and detached houses are for sale at prices ranging from £ 649 000 to £ 2,8 mln.


The apartment complex includes a gym and swimming pool, 24-hour security service, restaurants and a private bus line to the station of the Bushey.

University dining room (aka "Great Hall" of Hogwarts), is preserved in its original form and is used for special occasions.
Reformatting the mansion was  preserve the historic facade, original staircases, windows, some floors, fireplaces and beamed ceilings.
