Joining of Crimea to Russia leads to increase in demand for European real estate

Crimea has joined Russia and it boosts demand for property in Europe. The organizers of upcoming exhibitions in St. Petersburg and Moscow claim they are sought after among foreign participants, according to ee24.com citing opp-connect.com.

Kim Waddoup, the organizer of International Property Show in the Russian capitals says that all the exhibition stands have already been reserved, and no one of those who planned to come has refused to participate. Limited opportunities of exhibition spaces can no longer satisfy the growing demand from developers and real estate agencies.

According to Waddoup, the political crisis in Ukraine is forcing foreign property buyers in Russia to invest with more seriousness and urgency.

It is expected that the Moscow exhibition will be attended by 200 companies and visited by about 7 thousand people. In the St. Petersburg exhibition developers will be able to present their projects to the target audience of wealthy Russian buyers.
