Central and Eastern Europe are experiencing an investment boom

Good news came from Eastern Europe - 2015 is already considered one of the most successful in recent years for the CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) in terms of attracting investment in the commercial real estate market.

Increased investment activity in the summer months has led to the total volume of transactions in the third quarter in the amount of more than € 2,8 Bln., the figure was one of the highest in the history of the CEE investment market, only slightly below record of 2007. Thus, the amount of investments to the beginning of the 4th quarter amounted to more than € 5,5 Bln., which exceeds last year's figure by 22% a year. Experts predict that the annual volume of investments in commercial real estate in CEE could reach € 8 billion, and it will be the third result in the last 12 years.


The Czech Republic is in the lead in terms of investment with a share of 43%, followed by Poland with 28%, Romania 11%, Hungary 10%, Slovakia 2% and total rest of the region - 6%.
