Czech realtors almost sold the presidential palace

Cunning Czech realtors from "Czech Point 101" posted on the Internet an advertisement for the sale of a unique palace complex in the center of Prague. The problem is that Prague Castle is the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic, according to ee24.com citing ptel.cz.

The announcement of the sale also stated that the complex with area of 70,000 sq.m. includes the royal palace where the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II and the last president of Czechoslovakia and the first president of the Czech Republic Vaclav Havel once lived, as well as the cathedral, several churches, orchards and vineyards. Prague Castle - is the largest presidential residence in the world, and perhaps the world's largest castle.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Czech Republic has paid close attention to this unusual ad, but came to the conclusion that it was made not with malice, but only for the purpose of public relations. Realtors from "Czech Point 101" are sure that the president would not agree to sell his own residence, and they just had a desire to focus the public on illegal activities of Czech politicians.

The confrontation between the authorities and the company began in 2007 when the government used the registered name of Czech Point for the name of state information point. And in June this year, the Interior Ministry demanded to cancel the trademark "Czech Point 101."
