Apartments in Prague are being bought up by 20% faster

During the first half of the year developers have sold 2,850 new apartments in Prague, surpassing the last year's result by 20%, according to ee24.com following the report of Ekospol, Trigema and Skanska.

In Q2 2014 the demand was a record-high for the last five years. (1350 apartments were sold in Q1 and 1550 in Q2). Moreover, 6,600 apartments stay unsold in the Czech capital.

This spring, three of the leading developers of Prague mentioned above have joined forces to rapidly provide more accurate statistical reports on the state of the real estate market. Details on sales for the first half of 2014 will be available in late July.
