Access to hotel for Russians was denied due to the "Crimea annexation"

The Owner of Brioni Boutique Hotel in Ostrave, Tomáš Krčmář (at the picture), who has Ukrainian roots, denied access to the Russian tourists "due to the annexation of the Crimea". Hotelier admitted his actions as an "illegal discrimination" and is ready to pursue in court, – says ee24.com citing Czech edition "Novinky" and Russian "Interfax".

The restriction is valid since March 24. The owner has not accommodated 49 Russian athletes and according to him, has lost about 10-15% of guests. The announcement at the hotel entrance says that the hotel "apologizes to all estimable citizens of the Russian Federation". After the hotelier was discussed and blamed in social networks, Tomáš Krčmář decided to soften the restrictions and began to accommodate those Russians who do not support the reunification of Russia and the Crimea.

"In most cases the reaction is positive, although some write that I'm an idiot", said Tomáš Krčmář. In his social networking his behavior was criticized by the people from Germany, Switzerland and Poland.
