About the project
The GOLDEN AGE building grows in three stylized wheat classes, rising from arches thirty meters high. Wheat is a symbol of life itself, of growth and prosperity, which you can expect only if you have invested diligence and perseverance in your work. In Christianity, wheat also symbolizes faith: the seed of God's word germinates in the souls of the worthy, becomes a class, and bears fruit. Let us not forget that the Golden Age of Simeon the Great is associated with the spiritual upsurge of our people after the baptism of his father Boris. The three classes also carry the idea of the Holy Trinity, as well as of Faith, Hope and Love - the daughters of Sofia. Observers may see in the three arches a proto-Bulgarian symbol - Y, the sign of Khan Kubrat.
BLOOM OF BULGARIAN ARCHITECTURE, CULTURE AND LITERACY
The name of the GOLDEN CENTURY building is inspired by the desire to achieve the flourishing of Bulgarian architecture, culture and writing. As it was in the time of that worthy student of the Magnaur school - Tsar Simeon the Great. It becomes a bridge between the ages and a message to all those who are ready to create the new reality, a call for decisive optimism.
Since its inception, ARTEX has been committed to socially responsible architecture, which respects the environment and at the same time stands out as an incentive for positive change in it. The implementations of the projects (including improvement of the infrastructure, improvement and maintenance of the green areas, special lighting and many others) set an infectious example and raise the expectations for beauty, comfort of living and harmony in the urban environment.
Sofia needs buildings with character, temperament and a unique face. It is time to translate the word "skyline" (the silhouette of the city against the sky) into the language of Sofia architecture. The wide city center is not a historical reserve with ancient aesthetic principles. Such statics would kill the energy of the city. In Sofia there is a field for visionary architects, who with their projects infuse new life into its architectural appearance. They bring dynamism, rhythm, innovation to it. "GOLDEN AGE" comes with such determination.
