About the project
From time immemorial, people have learned to combine precious stones and precious metals, believing that the frame is like a vessel that preserves the energy of the mineral, and if the gemstone has a suitable frame, such a duo will have a perfect sound and endow their master with great power.
The residential quarter Lofts & Rosegold is a vivid example of the interaction of art from different eras, in which the old building is given the role of a gemstone, while the new one is given the role of a gorgeous “pink gold” frame highlighting the beauty of Loft.
We take great care of the city's history when creating modern architectural forms that could become monuments of the 21st century in the future, so we retain the original appearance of the Loft building, which is executed in a solemn Neo-Renaissance style. The loft building with a brick façade, decorated with pilasters, semicircular arched windows and decorative niches, with 5 and 6 meter high ceilings in the apartments in the quiet center of Riga will become the only example of a "loft" lifestyle in its purest form.
We have chosen pink gold for the frame, because it is a gorgeous and warm metal that allows you to discover the mystical properties of the stone to which it is connected. The Rosegold residential building will have 70 apartments with terraces, balconies and a private area. The niches and protruding shapes of the upper floors gently frame the old building, the Rosegold building seems to protect the Loft building and highlight its beauty.
