The Russians possess 500,000 real estate objects in the eastern part of Bulgaria, ee24.com informs citing novinite.com and data of the General Consulate of Russia in Bulgaria.
Russian citizens live mainly in cities and regions as Varna, Dobrich, Shumen, Burgas, Sliven and Yambol. They are usually open their business related to tourism and real estate.
Over the past 10 years the Russians have invested in the Bulgarian housing about $2 billion (€1.75 billion). In 2014, five Russians have invested in the Bulgarian economy about 1 million Bulgarian lev and received citizenship.
