"Geopolitics" is changed at Bulgarian market

Some realtors have reported that buyers from Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus were active in Bulgarian real estate market in the summer 2014; they "squeezed" the Russian citizens, who used to be major players in the residential segment, informs ee24.com citing newsbg.ru.

For example, Theophilus Petrov, CEO of GreenLife, told to the "Standard" newspaper that number of transactions involving the Belarusians increased by 10% in the summer 2014, while the Russian demand for Bulgarian housing declined approx. in 2 times.

The losses were compensated by customers from Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, who became more active in asking for property in Bulgaria. Their interest ensured the number of transactions to remain at the 2013 level.

It’s interesting that even the citizens of Mongolia pay attention to the Bulgarian housing as said the Honorary Ambassador of Mongolia in Bulgaria prof. Lhamsuren Dugerzhavov. There is no any detailed information about this case yet.
