In Q4 2014, Burgas and Varna have been leaders in commissioning of residential buildings – 107 units (with 615 apartments) and 91 (438) respectively, followed by the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, with 79 new units (117 apartments).
There were 698 new housing units totally in Bulgaria. It's more by 19.9% than at the same period in 2013, according to newsbg.ru and the National Statistics Institute (NSI). The most popular units were 2-bedroom (35.3%) and 3-bedroom apartments (28.3%). The average area of new property was 57.7 sq.m.
