In Tirana, Farke and Kashary when transferring property rights to the residential property will be charged 1100 lek per square meter (previously - 1000 leks) and for commercial real estate - 2200 lek per square meter instead of the previous 2000. For other purpose buildings tax increased from 1 500 to 1 550 leks for square meter.
In a number of cities, particularly in Vaqarr, Pesa, Petrella, Krrabe, and Zall Bastar, the tax rate has decreased on the contrary - in a number of cities the decline was up to 30%.
Experts predict that by the end of 2016 the size of budget revenues from the collection of the tax on the transfer of property rights will be about 400 million leks.
